The undergraduate first-degree program in Economics or Management is structured in semesters. For each course attended and successfully completed, students are awarded a number of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
In order to complete the undergraduate first-degree program, it is mandatory to enroll in at least six academic semesters and successfully achieve between 180 and 195 ECTS credits.
During the first year, you can choose to take all classes in English or in Portuguese, or you can choose to take Mathematics class in Portuguese and the remaining classes in English. English will be the language of instruction during the second and third year’s courses.
The Foundation Semester was designed for students from outside the European Union who have finished high school and plan to apply to Higher Education in Portugal.
The objective is to help students in the process of adapting to the European teaching system. It aims to level the technical knowledge of candidates from different countries and provide the required language competencies (when needed) for students who wish to apply, in the future, for a bachelor at Nova School of Business and Economics.
