Which one to choose?
Economics: prudence in analyzing
Over 4000 graduates working in varied activity sectors, in Portugal and abroad, are the irrefutable evidence of the high quality and innovation that characterizes Nova SBE’s undergraduate program in Economics, which was created in 1978.
The course is settled in a group of mandatory classes that will aloud you to have a solid training in Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods, in order to develop a balanced progression of technical knowledge and scientific basis.
At general you will also acquire a general view over complementary areas of your choice, such as Law and Social Science, among others.
Management: integrated and practical vision
The innovative curricular structure of the undergraduate degree in Management, created in 1995, has contributed to the training of 2000 managers and entrepreneurs, by providing an integrated perspective of management in diverse functional areas such as finance, marketing, strategy, operations and organizational behavior, combined with a solid base in economics and quantitative methods.
Both bachelors share classes in the first year and can choose up to two elective choices in the final year.
How does it work?
The undergraduate first-degree program is structured in semesters. For each course attended and successfully completed, students are awarded a number of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
In order to complete the undergraduate in Economics, it is mandatory to enroll in at least six academic semesters and successfully achieve between 180 and 195 ECTS credits.
During the first year, you can choose to take all classes in English or in Portuguese, or you can choose to take Mathematics class in Portuguese and the remaining classes in English. English will be the language of instruction during the second and third year’s courses.
Annual tuition fee: 7500 €
Enrollment fee: 10 % of the tuition fee, to be deducted from the total tuition fee.
